Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Staci's passion for fashion and beauty blossomed at an early age. As a child she went to the hair salon with her mom and sister whom she watched closely and used as inspiration to develop her own style. In the salon, she encountered and became fascinated with many women who wore beautiful clothes and detailed hairstyles. These early experiences were the seeds for the future designer to grow.

One of Staci's major inspirations in love, which derives from her strong connection with her family. "Having my mother and my older sister around really helped me grow," Staci said. She used her mother and sister as inspirations and guides through creating her own style and label. Her sister was smart, mature and classy, which taught Staci how to be a lady and keep herself up. "My mom use to always tell me, to be nice and people liked sweet, cute little girls, not grown ones." This guidance led Staci down a narrow, straight path towards success.

Her father and younger brother were also there as inspirations who pushed Staci forward. "My dad had a classic style and my brother is the rebel," Staci said. She used situations with her older brother to craft her newest line, Magical Black, while her dad has always stood as a reminder  for her to stay true to herself.
